My Personal Top 10 Favourite Bond Girls

Bond fans i'm not going to lie this is perhaps the hardest list i've ever had to produce not only because alot of these Bond Girls are well loved by the fans but also because I have no idea on what qualities i'm going to be ranking these girls. No matter which qualities I went with the list was always changing and that made it very hard for me to nail down this list i'm going to give it ago and tell you my personal top 10 favourite Bond Girls.

10) Tatiana Romanova (From Russia With Love) (Daniela Bianchi)

What puts this character so low down on the list is that despite the fact she's beautiful as all hell she is also rather forgetful. I can't remember a single thing that she does in From Russia With Love infact I remember right she spends alot of the time begging James to help her which is fine every once in a while but it's not. I will give her this she's a lot better then Rosie from Live And Let Die but a rock is better then her and would make sense.

9) Holly Goodhead (Moonraker) (Lois Chiles)

If i'm being honest just her name alone is enough to get her a spot on this list but this isn't being based on names because if it was you'd be seeing her in the number 2 spot. To me she is a really good character and even tho today she'd reek of feminism due to the time Moonraker was made she's treated more as an actual character rather then a tool to push an agenda and it helps that in terms of smarts she is Bond's equal.

8) Plenty O'Toole (Diamonds Are Forever) (Lana Wood)

Yeah i'm not going to lie she's on here because she's sexy as hell and honestly in this case that's not a bad thing. When watching Diamonds I always got the impression that Plenty knew that she could have any man or woman she wanted and because of that she had a bit more confidence about her and even tho she's not in the film that long she did make an impact at least on me and I honestly want to know more about her.

7) Andrea Anders (The Man With The Golden Gun) (Maud Adams)

Out of Andrea and Mary Goodnight Andrea is easily the better character and to me what makes her an interesting character is the fact that she's in an abusive relationship. Which to me is a great angle because it not only makes the character more sympathetic but it also makes the main villain more of a bad guy because now we get to see what they'll do to the ones that they apparently care for and love and it's something that I want to see in No Time To Die.

6) Tiffany Case (Diamonds Are Forever) (Jill St. John)

This girl is sassy as all hell almost every line she has is her giving sass to someone and I just love it to me it works because her character seems like the type of character who would be very sassy. That said tho she seems to loose all of that sass by the third act and instead becomes a dumb blonde type of character which i wouldn't mind if they hadn't spent alot of the film telling us that she's smart character.

5) Sylvia Trench (Dr. No) (Eunice Gayson)

Technically she is the very first Bond Girl at least in terms of the EON films and she is the only Bond Girl to appear in more then one Bond film. As a character we don't really get to know that much about her but from what we see we can make out that she's a confident card player and even serves as someone who could truly love Bond it's just a shame that the producers didn't stick to there original plan for the character.

4) Wai Lin (Tomorrow Never Dies) (Michelle Yeoh)

If Goodhead was Bond's equal when it came to smarts then Wai Lin is his equal when it comes to fights. This is why I hate it when the producers say that the next Bond Girl is Bond's equal because we've already had several Bond Girls who are his equal and in my opinion the best example of that is Wai Lin because she is literally a female James Bond she was a great character and hopefully we'll see her appear again in the films.

3) Fiona Volpe (Thinderball) (Luciana Paluzzi)

Fiona is easily the best thing about Thunderball and yes I know that she's not an alley of Bond's and so there might be some of you that don't call her a Bond Girl but I do and it's my list. She is such a fun character I honestly fell in love with her the second I saw her on screen and the above picture is also the background image on my phone. That's how much I love her and I don't have any other pictures of any of the other Bond Girls but I have one of her.

2) Contessa Teresa di Vicenzo (On Her Majesty's Secret Service) (Diana Rigg) and M (Skyfall ( Judi Dench)

If i'm being honest both this entry and the next one where hard to decide so that one has  been tripled up. Ironically what makes both Tracy and M the number 2 spot is the fact that they both died and I know that this is going to make some people angry but I felt more sadness over M's death then I did Tracy's because if you think about it we've had over a decade to get to know M where as we've only had two hours to get to know Tracy but they are both great characters.

1) Honey Ryder (Dr. No) (Ursula Andress) , Pussy Galore (Goldfinger) (Honor Blackman) and Vesper Lynd (Casino Royale) (Eva Green)

I honestly couldn't pick who should be number one so for the first time ever the number one spot was a three way tie. All three of these women are iconic characters be it due to how they enter the film , the impact they have on Bond as a character or due to being well written it was honestly hard to pick one over the others because all three are great characters and in my opinion are the bar upon which all Bond Girls should be judged.

The Spy Who Loved Me Film Review

Even tho the James Bond film franchise is pretty much box office gold today it wasn't always the case as back in the mid seventies the franchise was on the verge of dying out. With both Live And Let Die and The Man With The Golden Gun not getting really that good reviews and not doing that good at the office coupled with the fact that franchise co-producer Harry Saltzman had some serious debts of his own to pay off there really was alot of pressure on this film to succeed to prove to people that James Bond really can survive outside out of the sixties and so then join me as I review the film saved the James Bond franchise with the film in question being called simply just "The Spy Who Loved Me" enjoy. The plot of this film is James Bond is tasked with teaming up a Russian spy in order to stop a reclusive megalomaniac from creating a new world under the sea. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented
